You need to download the IMAP source from the link you've got below-- get
the file "imap.tar.Z"

Untar it to a directory.  I assume you're running Linux, so use this
command:

make slx SSLTYPE=none

Ignore any errors.  Now, using the imap path instead of /path/to/ , at the
following switch to your PHP configure command:

--with-imap=/path/to/

Adding IMAP won't do anything to PHP Nuke.

hello list,

   i am running phpnuke on my server which is compiled with options
--with-mysql --with-apxs. now again i need to provide WAP for our email
check which needed imap extension support for php.

for php but i am confuse which files do i need to download. plz if
anyone knows let me suggest which list of files do i need to download.

  if i again compile php with imap extensions will it disturb my phpnuke.?
