For some reason I have a lot of problems compiling open source projects on Solaris. I get a lot of unexplained compile errors. Anyway, I am getting compile errors with php. I am running on Solaris Intel compiling PHP 4.3.4. I get these errors in the compile. I have tried the make utility that came with Solaris and I have also tried GNU make. Here is the error from GNU make which is very similar to the error I get from the Solaris make program:
