It would be nice if the list admin would remove any accounts subscribed to this list which have auto-responders set up.
It makes posting to this list quite annoying. These are not people who forgot to turn off their "vacation" messages. These are actual accounts that ALWAYS bounce an auto-response. Many of these are "support" addresses. Come on, folks! Don't use auto-responding addresses to subscribe to mailing lists. Make another account. I received auto-responses from the follow addresses: Autoresponder <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] (nice site, BTW) Autoresponder <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Autoresponder <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] Quest Software <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] (JavaDoc Team and Sun MicroSystems) Andrew <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or perhaps, the list could be set up with default replies back to the list, and it would auto-kick auto-responses. Sorry to play scrooge before Christmas, but this makes posting to this list less than appealing.
