I use Red Hat 7.3 platform and I try to make a "cleanup" of unused packages on my computer. When I try to uninstall curl package (www, ftp utility to download files) the RPM software return me that PHP have dependencies of this package....
Why Curl is needed by PHP absolutely ? P.S. I use PHP 4.1.2-7.3.6 (latest version available by Red Hat) Curl could be a PHP "module" ?
