[PHP-INSTALL] PHP looking for /tmp/mysql.sock when I compile it to use /usr/local/Servers/MySQL/var/socket

Hello,   Does anyone know how to change PHP from insissting that the mysql socket be in /tmp.   In other words I set --with-mysql-sock=/usr/local/Servers/MySQL/var/socket   but, I get an error message: Nov 10 21:24:39 HORDE [emergency] [imp] DB Error: connect failed:  [nativecode=Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (13)] ** Array [on line 108 of "/usr/local/HTTPS/horde/lib/Prefs/sql.php"]   How do I tell PHP where to look for the mysql socket????   Michael
