I've installed a linux redhat 8.0 with Php: 4.2.2, MySQL 3.23.52, Apache 2.0.40
I've installed too the following rpms needed to use mysql_connect()
php-4.2.2-8.0.8.i386.rpm
php-mysql-4.2.2-8.0.8.i386.rpm
and thoses required for rpms dependencies:
php-pgsql-4.2.2-8.0.8.i386.rpm
php-imap-4.2.2-8.0.8.i386.rpm
php-ldap-4.2.2-8.0.8.i386.rpm
Apache works
Mysql works too
No link seems to exist between php and mysql?
I've got the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() in /var/www/html/dialogue.php on line 8
and PhpMyAdmin 2.5.3-rc2 doesn't work too. I've got the following error:
PhpMyAdmin: cannot load MySQL extension, please check PHP Configuration.
What does it mean? If anybody can help me. Please
