Hello all,
I am building out a RedHat Linux 9 machine i686ß (it’s really an AMD Athalon 2200) using the specs from the following link http://www.snort.org/docs/snort_acid_rh9.pdf My problem occurs when ever I try to ./configure --prefix=/www/php --with-apxs2=/www/bin/apxs --with-config- filepath=/ www/php --enable-sockets --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-zlibdir=/usr/local --with- gd
the error that I get is = configure: error: libpng.(a|so) not found
so I tried the switch –with-jpeg-dir=/usr/lib and it still craps out
I have verified that the libpng is there
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
