I got a suse 8.1 system with apache2 installed. I tried to install mod_php and it wonīt work. I looked for the apxs but it is not installed (but the mod_so).
So I installed php 4.3.1 on my system (and this works fine). Is it possible to run .php files without mod_php on the apache webserver?
I ask this because perl is running without the mod_perl on my system.
The performance doesnīt matter(I only need it for phpmyadmin).
Has anyone had the same problems and solved it? Iīm trying now since 2 days, but couldnīt solve the problem.
