Sorry all, I forgot to mention these steps:
In Apache's config file (httpd.conf), I did the following:
- inserted ScriptAlias /php/ "c:/php/"
- inserted AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
- inserted Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php.exe"
- inserted LoadModule php4_module c:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll
- inserted AddModule mod_php4.c
