Try it again using --with-oci8=/opt/oracle/product/9.0.1 , instead of Oracle.

I get the same error.

Also, check your apxs script against this page.

I had been building PHP as a static module, so I did not have an apxs script.

But just to try something, I tried building PHP as a DSO, and got the exact same error. Before building PHP, I opened the APXS file and verified that it did not have the problems described on that page.

Any other ideas?
