I'm trying to install php with mcrypt support. However, I'm having serious problems configuring mcrypt. Every time I try, I get an error saying that it couldn't find libmcrypt. The only problem with that is I made and installed libmcrypt (the right version to meet mcrypt's criteria) with no difficulty. Has anyone had any experience installing mcrypt on RH 7.3? Could you give me pointers as to what I may need to do? Or the steps you took to configure and make mcrypt?
