I've got Apache 2.0.40 and PHP 4.2.3 running just fine as a sapi on my win2k pro box.
Possible reasons: 1. Apache 2.0.40 and PHP4.2.3 like each other, as do 2.0.39 and php 4.2.2 (but don't mix and match). 2.
