This has probably been answered before, and I've even helped other people figure out this problem, but I can't figure it out for the life of me.
I have Apache 1.3.26 + mod_ssl running PHP 4.2.1. Now, if I start Apache normally with apachectl start, everything seems to be fine. PHP works, but SSL does not. If I start Apache with apachectl startssl, then SSL works but PHP does not. Instead, PHP wants to download the file - there's no parsing... However, all the right pieces are in place in the config file. I can't figure out why starting apache with "apachectl startssl" disables PHP...
