Hello all, I'm trying to install the latest Apache/PHP on a new machine.
I can compile and install Apache 1.3.26 and PHP 4.2.1, using standard configure/make/make install as per all documentation using DSO and using only different prefixes accordingly, but an attempt to start apache after the install of PHP fails with the following error. Cannot load /opt/apache_1.3.26/libexec/libphp4.so into server ....libphp4.so: undefined symbol: core_globals httpd could not be started. Has anybody seen this problem.
