Hi Andy Smith,

yep, I get the same behavior. One trick ist to start apache WITHOUT the 
module, then reinsert it into the httpd.conf and restart apache. Then it 
MAYBE restart fine.

But it is not as stable as I want it. Sometime it crashes.

I will still use the 1.3.24 (apache)and 4.1.2 (php)
