OK, I've found workaround. I downgraded autoconf to version 2.13 and
now everything runs clearly.

:-)
I'm just testing on win98 (sorry, will change to Solaris8 soon..),
apache 1.3.23. PHP 4.1.2 manually installed
Lines (LoadModule, AddType, AddModule) to httpd.conf added :)
php.ini exist, doc_root OK.
When trying to call for example: http://myIP/file.php the browse ask:
'open file with.. or download?'
Some misconfiguration, but what??
Best regards,

All you really need is something quite basic
A Pentium II 450 would work with about 256mb RAM recommend 384 or 512. The
Hard drive size is really up to you and the amount of info you are going to
store on your site. You sound like you could easily get away with a 10GB HD.
Is this going to be for your office, home(internet site (hobby)).
