I see a lot of people recently posting compilation problems because of those "first defined here", "multiple definition of" in various parts of the code. I don't remember having seen postings about these errors before. I have such a problem myself (see posting of March 18). Is this a trend which could indicate a general problem with the 4.1.* code or is this a common compiler error which doesn't point to a problem in the code itself?
