Hi, I have been searching the news archives, documentation etc for any info about this and I cannot find anything.
I need to patch a PHP installation from 4.0.6 to the latest version on two machines - one running Apache and one runing IIS. Is there a patch available for this, or is it just a case of removing the old one and installing the new one? I noticed a patch for unix but not for windows. The IIS installation is on a high traffic web server - would there need to be down time for this webserver or can it be a seemless patch? Just as extra info - I was told that using the ISAPI module was not very thread safe so when there were lots of connects to the webserver using PHP it was unreliable. Therefore I am using the CGI binary php.exe set up in IIS. Thanks in advance for any help Matthew ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through UK Online webmail -- PHP Install Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
