To all, I'm a little new to PHP (and Linux for that matter) so please bear with me.
I have a current running version of PHP (4.0.4.) that shipped with RedHat 7.1 I read about the security issue so I downloaded the new version (4.1.2), (php-4.1.2.tar.gz). I performed an install (tar xzvf, ./configure, make, and make install) and the package seemed to install with out any errors. However when I bring up the banner from "http://www.domain.com/phpinfo.php I still get the old version (4.0.4). What am I missing? Any pointer would be appreciated.
