In the INSTALL file for php, it says if you are re-compiling to add extensions, etc., to make sure to "remove the config.cache file before you re-run configure."
Question: is 'config.cache' the name of the cache file or just the description. If it is just the description, what would the cache file's name be? A wild guess of mine is /etc/ld.so.cache, but Im not sure, and don't want to screw anything up.
