Hi Dan,

I recently installed Mandrake linux 8.0
ph 4.0 was installed right out of the box and worked like a champ
MySQL was there also but it did take a bit of fooling around to get the
permissions set so php could access it
I found mandrake to be pretty easy to work with all around
