Rene-

Search your system for libs/libphp4.*  in your php install directory.  Look for a file 
like libphp4.sl.  Rename that file to libphp4.so and re-run apxs.

hello

i tried to install PHP 4.0.6 on my suse 6.4 as dynamic module:
# ./configure --with-axps
# make
# make install
-> no errors


but it doesn't install the libphp4.so, i searched the whole system for
this file, but it wasn't anywhere.
so what did i wrong?

system:
suse 6.4
kernel 2.4.8
gcc 2.95.2
