Dear All I have been running and developing in LAMP environment for nearly six months now. Recently my server crashed and i have setup a new server. It is Linux-Mandrake, Apache 1.3.20, MySQL 3.23.39 and PHP 4.0.5 Everything is in place and i am now trying to install php as a dynamic module. mod_so.c is available using httpd -l I give php-4.0.5$ ./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs and it gives a very strange error " Looking for Flex .......found lex Error could not write output to lex or something." I for the life of me cannot understand this error I am grateful for any help.
