I can configure php-4.0.5 normaly with this:
./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql
--with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --enable-track-vars
but when run make it gives me this error:

sapi_apache.c:80: `NOT_FOUND' undeclared (first use in this function)

sapi_apache.c:80: for each function it appears in.)

make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/php-4.0.5/sapi/apache'

make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/php-4.0.5/sapi/apache'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/php-4.0.5/sapi'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
