Hello! I have to SUN Solaris machines. At the one machine i have installed Oracle 8i and MySQL Databases. On the other machine i want to install Apache and PHP4 (cgi-version). Now i have the following problem. How can i tell the configure program that the location of the databases is on the other machine? If i type configure -with-oracle -with-mysql i get the error that the oracle libs can't find and the configure program doesn't create a makefile. If i write configure without any option i get a makefile and can install php. Can i tell PHP after the installation that i want to use databases there are located on remote machines?
