I have compiled the latest PHP version 4.0.4pl1 on an SGI and am trying to use it with a Netscape-FastTrack/3.02 webserver as an cgi executable (not module). How do you set up the Netscape server to recognize the .php extension as a cgi program? At the top of each webpage generated by PHP, the #!/path_to_php/php line is echoed. How can I prevent this from happening? I realize this may be a webserver issue, but if anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
