Dear newsgroup,
I've installed Apache 1.3.14 and PHP 4.0.4pl1 (both from binaries) on my
Win95 system (off-line, for development). I have also installed the
required Winsock2 and dcom95.
After modifying the httpd.conf (apache) and php.ini configuration files,
I can start the Apache server and get the message
Apache/1.3.14 (Win32) PHP/4.0.4pl1 running ...
as if everything is sweet, and as a matter of fact Apache seems ok for
all types of content, except PHP, that it returns as blank content, even
though it reads the source (it's there in 'view-source'). I don't even
seem to be able to run the CGI executable
(http://localhost/cgi-bin/php.exe/file.html right? but I have tried many
variations)
Does anyone out there have an idea of what is going on here? please also
reply to my mailbox,
