You might have LoadModule libphp4.so somewhere before where you added it bob pilly wrote:

Recently i have installed apache 2.0.40-11 that comes

4.2.2-8.0.7 with it but when i put the LoadModule
php4_module modules/libphp4.so i get the following
error when running apache.

And php isnt functional. Has anyone seen this problem
before? I have searched for an answer for it but so
far havent found any reason why this is happening.
