[PHP] Array Searching

Hi,

i have an array like:

Array
(
    [1] => Array
        (
            [alias] => foo
            ...
        )
    [2] => Array
        (
            [alias] => bar
            ...
        )
    ...
)

I need some way to find out, if an alias "foo" is in the array. Any idea how
to do this?
