I'm trying to access some settings in the $HTTP_SERVER_VARS[] array, but, within a custom function() this array appears empty. In the calling script, however, the $HTTP_SERVER_VARS[] array is defined.
I thought this was supposed to be "superglobal" and available on every level? If not, is there another command I can use? I also tried $_SERVER[] but this appears to be always empty no matter what level I call it on. Thanks.
