I am wondering if there is a way to detect the version of the underlaying library used in an extension. For example: Determine the version of the slabtron library invoked by your PHP script. Is it Version 0.81 or 0.70? I could see this being extremly usefull.
I remember reading a while back that somebody was implementing extension versioning.
