Help! Erratic Behaviour with PHP 4.06 on Apache 1.3.20: in unreproduceable intervals (1 out of 10 page requests), all PHP output will have single and double quotes escaped by backslashes - no matter if the output is produced by echo, readfile, include, or any other PHP command. No special problematic sourcecode; this behaviour occurs with ALL types of code our this machine.
Since our websites draw their complete HTML code from a database via PHP, these erratic backslashes crash always the whole site. With a previous PHP version (4.0.3), this problem NEVER occured using the same PHP code and the same ini-file settings.
