[PHP] Addtype command in htaccess

Hi people
this may be off this list a bit, But I want to make the apache webserver believe that 
a "html" file is my server is actually a "php4" file, Is this syntax correct to add in 
the .htaccess file?

AddType application/x-httpd-php4 .html

Open for all suggestions.
