I have a file that I include at the beginning of every .php file.... it
contains the following code, and works perfectly:
session_start();
if (!$PHPSESSID) {
session_register('sess_uid');
session_register('sess_acl');
session_register('sess_fname');
session_register('sess_lname');
session_register('sess_uname');
};
note that I do not store any value for the variables before registering them
with the session....
