    You're missing mysql_fetch_array(), mysql_fetch_assoc(), or
something of the like.

    Example:

<?php
// .... code....

 $result = mysql_query($randomQuery);
 $row = mysql_fetch_array($result);

 foreach($row as $k => $v) {
     $random[$k] = $v;
 }

// .... code....
}
?>
