configure ended with no errors. But it said "Don't forget to make test", so like a good little lemming I did.

So after ./configure finished, it didn't end with a line beginning like so?

       configure: error: [SOME_ERROR_MESSAGE]

   If not, feel free to run both 'make' and 'make install'.
