sorry if i offended you Richard. but if you look more closely at the statement i posted you will see that i assumed you havent seen a successful implementation of design patterns in the wild. and indeed i still feel its safe to assume you havent unless you say otherwise, because you keep saying you loathe them, due to failed implementations of design patterns of which you have observed. -nathan
