I've downloaded the 5.1.6 and guess what? the ./configure --with-mssql runs fine in the same machine... 5.0.4 ./configure --with-mssql ... checking for MSSQL support via FreeTDS... yes configure: error: Cannot find FreeTDS in known installation directories 5.1.6 ./configure --with-mssql ... checking for MSSQL support via FreeTDS... yes checking for dnet_addr in -ldnet_stub... (cached) no checking for MySQL support... no checking for specified location of the MySQL UNIX socket... no ... make ... Build complete. (It is safe to ignore warnings about tempnam and tmpnam).
