Wget is VERY powerful.
I have a php based site that does transactions through php, and I used Wget
to create a test suite, having one computer slam transactions at the
server, and record the results.
BTW: I was able to get about 2000 transactions a second on RH6.1, PHP4,
with large scripts, doing a lot of work in a MySQL database, using a
PII-300 as the server :)
