I've just heard about Microsoft deal, the geant bought the Zend platform at 113 million US$. What will be the php future ? it's gonna switch to proprietary licence ? closed source ? or it was a Zend product deal ? (zend studio, platform ...) not affecting the php language in itself ? Does this mean that all efforts done in open source by thousands of people around the world to get a web scripting language at a high entreprise level is now bought by Micrsoft ?
