You can add as many remarks as you want... It won't show up in the code or mess it up.
Just say something like "/* The next line of code came from my PEAR class. I did not create it, it was something we created in class. Just giving credit where credit is due */" I myself, wouldn't care. I mean, the burden of proving it would be on them. And who's to say that you didn't get it elsewhere. Just my $.02...
