I have installed Apache 2.0.52 and PHP 5.0.2 on windows XP. I have configured directories and everything works until I unmark any of extensions. the result is that I cannot use MySQL in php scripts.

For MySQL, there are two files that PHP needs to find--php_mysql.dll and libmysql.dll. The simplest, if not most elegant, way to be sure PHP can find them is to copy them into your windows\system32 directory.
