The OP asked for the pros and cons of top posting vs bottom posting. I
responded with some reasons why top posting is bad.

What did you come up with?

I personally highly prefer top posting for a simple reason: it reduces how often I have to defocus the message list to scroll. If everyone top posted, I could read the list significantly faster. However, the difference is fairly minor, and even with that minor annoyance, its still so much faster than back when I tried to use Outlook that I don't mind, and so I bottom post as it seems to be prefered by more.
