Try www.devshed.com Has some nice stuff.. Read the HOWTO's..
Install SSH and a secure FTP server with the ability to chroot people..
like ProFTPD (www.proftpd.org). Remove telnet, they can use SSH instead.
Read about MySQL security (www.mysql.com) but also some info on devshed.com
