I was wondering if there are already results from any benchmark that says
Apache 2 and PHP are ready for production environments.
Well what really happened was that our sever would just die at times of peak usage (nothing in the log files - no evidence of attack) on a hunch we switched from apache 2.x to 1.3x and we haven't had the same problem since then (god knows what the real problem was the result was a dead server every time)
