I'm looking for an open source, PHP-based image repository/database application. There are numerous examples on the web of this kind of application, but I am hoping to find something designed for (or more suitable for) scientific images. In particular, something that uses standard meta-data tagging and/or allows for a controlled vocabulary of keywords, and a decent hierarchical system for organization.
