Hi there, I'm running RedHat 9.0 /Apache 2.0.48/openssl-0.9.7c/php-4.3.4
Every time I recompile PHP nothing seems to change according to phpinfo(). I'm trying to add SSL and FTP functionality. The funny thing is, every time it is recompiled the messages indicate the install worked properly. What's the best way to recompile php if I want to add functionality?
I did './configure --enable-ftp --with-openssl'

First things first. Did you restart apache?
