Even etiquette evolves. And even then, who's to say one etiquette is better than another. In most cultures it's rude to burp at a meal, yet at others it is rude to NOT burp. Once again an argument that seems to be stuck in a rut. Let's say I promise to disagree and continue posting as I choose till I hear a good argument for not top posting. God knows, 70% of usenet would probably top post if someone at some point hadn't told them not to. But of course that's the common flaw in any system where a few who pretend to be elite often force their opinions, etiquettes, and cultural habits on others. I for one refuse to conform to such silliness. At any rate I'm done with this topic for at least two more weeks at which time it'll be back to the head of the "already discussed to hell" but needs to be re-discussed again list. At which point I'll happily argue in favour of top posting once more, lest new users feel they should be inclined to bottom post as a matter of rule.
