Dear Adam ; The problem that it doesn't exist even after complilation .. ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/freetds --with-tdsver=4.2 --with-unixodbc=/u sr/lib make make install
the point is that unixodbc came out of the box with redhat 9 so i tried whereis unixodbc and i then assumed to /usr/lib .... do u think this is the problem causes i lost libtdsodbc.so ??
