Just out of curiosity, where did you get the idea this is an "open source" mailing list? There are plenty of commercial PHP products that have been mentioned and recommended by list members, including Zend products.
I'm not condoning posting ads to the list the way John, but I think that declaring it an "open source" list will discourage people who have created PHP-based systems that aren't free or open-source from contributing.
